Pets are part of our family
- In my years of practice, I have had the privilege and joy to experience first-hand the strength of the bond between pets and their families. Many owners will do everything they can to help their pets live happy, healthy lives, because these days, our pets are family members. I will do everything I can to treat your pet with loving care, in a fear-free manner, and strive to do my best for your pet every day.
Communication is key – with owners, with pDVM
- I will communicate with your primary care vet so that we can work together in a collaborative fashion to get the best results for your pet. I will be an empathetic listener, be clear and thoughtful in my communications with you, and make recommendations that will be individualized, thorough, evidence-based, and consider all aspects of your situation. And, I will find answers to your questions if I do not already have them!
Thorough evaluations and treatment plans
- Pain in one area will often shift a pet’s normal walking pattern, putting stresses and strains on areas that don’t seem to be directly related. Your pet’s whole musculoskeletal and neurologic systems will be evaluated for primary and compensatory issues that need to be addressed for long-term success.
Refer when necessary
- There may be instances when your pet needs x-rays or bloodwork performed by your primary care veterinarian, or when your pet needs to be evaluated by a board-certified veterinary surgeon. We can typically achieve the best results when we have a definitive diagnosis, or when we have all of the information we need for a complete picture of your pet’s health.
