Welcome to
Oklahoma Vet Rehab!
The fields of rehabilitation and chronic pain management are relatively new in veterinary medicine. While the recommendations of crate rest and pain meds are appropriate in some short-term situations, we are increasingly recognizing that there is so much more that we can do to manage pain better, get pets back to their normal daily activities faster, and boost the body’s own healing mechanisms. We use a hands-on integrative approach, including acupuncture, shockwave, photobiomodulation (laser), manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and a few other modalities to help your pet regain independence, comfort, and quality of life. We have also done extensive training in the most up-to-date, multi-modal approaches to pain management, it is our passion!

Amy has seen my Keeshond Sheba for almost 5 years to address pain and complications associated with three failed ulnar osteotomy surgeries. The orthopedic surgeon stated it was an "end of life osteoarthritic event" but my vet Aaron Heintz said a number of his patients had good results with a veterinarian who specialized in acupuncture and rehab. So Dr. Amy came to our house, met Sheba and performed a series of acupuncture treatments starting with an "antenna" that goes right on top of her head and immediately reduced Sheba's anxieties; I was surprised how quickly it worked. My first impression was that Amy really cares about her patience, a calming demeanor is evident and my fur baby felt safe around "this stranger." But what really astounded me was immediately following the acupuncture Sheba was able to get up and walk on that front left leg for the first time since her surgery and she had that sparkle back in her eyes as the pain from that front elbow had subsided. Experienced, educated and professional describe Amy; the results speak for themselves. I can't tell you how many times I've sent a follow up text elated that Sheba was trotting around and bugging me for food, my gratitude goes beyond words.

We highly recommend Amy for your pet's rehabilitation needs. Amy provided acupuncture & rehab treatment for our beloved family dog, Baron for over 3.5 years. She was helpful in many ways & gentle with his every treatment. I feel her treatment was beneficial to provide relief & comfort to Baron & he was always so happy to see her. Amy is knowledgeable, reliable, committed, very caring & we would have complete trust of our pets health in her care. Amy is very supportive & simply the very best!
